Online statuses & profile states (dots)


Online status is determined based on when a profile was last active (exchanging messages, browsing profiles, etc.)

Online statuses

Online (green dot) – Active within the last 2 hours
Recently Online (orange dot) – Active 2-24 hours ago
Inactive (gray dot) – Active more than 24 hours ago
     Offline (no dot) – The member has manually taken their profile offline (Settings > Go Offline)

Profile states

In addition to online status, there are two different profile states that may appear within an online status indicator:
New Member (leaf icon) – The user has recently joined within the last 2 weeks
Traveling (airplane icon) – The user is currently traveling and is not a native of the current city

Offline profiles

Offline profiles can browse the mains grids; however, all chat, wave, and album unlock functions are disabled. You must go back online to interact with a profile.
When a member takes their profile offline:
  1. Their profile will not be visible in your Nearby grid (regardless of filter settings)
  2. Their profile will not be visible in Search + Filters grid

  1. Launch Jack'd
  2. Tap Account
  3. Toggle Go Offline then confirm
Go Online
  1. Launch Jack'd
  2. Tap Account
  3. Toggle Go Online then confirm
Note
  1. If you have Favorited a profile that is offline, it will be visible in your Favorites grid
  2. If you have unread or recently read messages from an offline profile, it will be visible in your inbox
